Aguila beat Brujos Izalco to even the series at 1-1. Aguila forced 29 Brujos Izalco turnovers. The best player for the winners was American-Colombian forward Freddy Asprilla (208-88, college: Canisius) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists. San Salvador held off Quezaltepeque to earn the first win in the series. San Salvador outrebounded Quezaltepeque 48-34 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. American forward James Milton (204-92, college: Stevenson) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 24 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Joshua Windham (190-94, college: Bluefield St.) supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds.
